Absolut Winter Pop-up Bar
Exuberant flavours will conquer the winter chills as Customs House confronts the cooler months. In a partnership with Absolut, a red-hot attraction will transform this CBD favourite from Thursday May 18, with a styled pop-up bar set to feature igloos, cocktails, and a warming winter menu.
As a saving grace from the brisk outdoor air, the Absolut Winter Pop-up Bar draws guests into igloos overlooking the stunning Brisbane River. Within, groups mingle around Nordic-styled furnishings and fur-draped lounge chairs, toting the bar’s signature sip – the Spiced Absolut Winter. The mix features Absolut vodka and cranberry juice infused with cinnamon, star anise, cloves and orange, and topped with meringue foam.
Along with a spectacular list of premium wine, beer and spirits, a range of specialty cocktails will match the charming winter atmosphere. Sips are set to include the bracing Arctic Citrus (a mix of Veuve Ambal, Absolut vodka, lemon juice, elderflower cordial, and lemon myrtle), Black Russian with coffee jelly and a selection of whiskies.
With cocktails in hand, guests will be free to explore the dishes lighting up the menu, including gourmet cheese plates with Swiss Gruyere and triple cream brie, warming venison stew, crispy pork cheek sliders, and chocolate fondue with strawberries and marshmallows.
After launching on 18 May, the Customs House Absolut Winter Pop-up Bar will open from Thursday to Saturday from 4:00 pm until late, and Sundays from 12:00–4:00 pm.
