A Very Laneway Christmas: ILMA by Sundholm Style Pop Up

If you would prefer to avoid shopping centre carpark chaos for the foreseeable future and/or are keen to make a difference with your hard-earned dollars this Christmas, Winn Lane and Bakery Lane in Fortitude Valley are transforming into a micro-market for A Very Laneway Christmas Event. You’re invited to wander down the laneways and get lost amongst a collection of independent young and emerging designers, who truly encompass all that is Brisbane. One such designer is Caitlin Bennett, the brains and talent behind Sundholm Style, which will launch its first label ILMA at A Very Laneway Christmas Event. Caitlin’s vision is to build a sustainable fashion brand that is well styled, accessible and appealing. Her first range ILMA offers effortlessly easy to wear, modern classics that are ethically made in Australia. The capsule collection is made from natural linen and offers a relaxed and flattering fit, perfect for summer!

A Very Laneway Christmas Event kicks off on November 15 and runs right up until December 23 (for those last-minute gifts) and will showcase creations by five very unique emerging designers as well as special Christmas sales at selected Bakery Lane and Winn Lane retailers. So whether you just hate crowds or love supporting local makers and do-ers, discover the cool and relaxed vibe of these hidden markets. The event is pet friendly and there is free live music every Saturday from 12:00–2:00 pm as well as food from a bunch of the nearby venues.
