If you’re on the hunt for Christmas gifts with a little charisma this year, look no further than Aster + Lilou. The Brisbane-based boutique is popping up at A Very Laneway Christmas Event in Bakery Lane in Fortitude Valley from December 8 to 15.

Aster + Lilou showcases an eclectic collection of new and vintage – clothing, jewellery and accessories, with a strong focus on modern style. The label’s own collection is sewn in Brisbane and regularly features recycled one-off vintage designs. It’s for the wide-eyed dreamers, the fashion-forward thinkers.

A Very Laneway Christmas Event kicks off on November 15 and runs right up until December 23 (for those last-minute gifts) and will showcase creations by five very unique emerging designers as well as special Christmas sales at selected Bakery Lane and Winn Lane retailers. So whether you just hate crowds or love supporting local makers and do-ers, discover the cool and relaxed vibe of these hidden markets. The event is pet friendly and there is free live music every Saturday from 12:00–2:00 pm as well as food from a bunch of the nearby venues.
