A Deep Listening experience

A Deep Listening experience

Join the State Library of Queensland for a Deep Listening experience of earthy and soothing sounds of the yidaki (didgeridoo). Deep Listening is an important practice within First Nations cultures and quiet reflection is the perfect way for community to come together.

A Deep Listening experience encourages inner reflection and deep listening through a guided contemplation track created in collaboration with First Nations musicians Craig Werribone-Wright, Sunjay and Sasha Ghee. At the end of the contemplation track participants are invited to leave their reflections by contributing to a community canvas in the kuril dhagun space.

A Deep Listening experience will be available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for free, bookable sessions between 10:00 am – 12:00 pm and 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
