Making coffee isn’t just an art form, it’s also a competitive sport. On Saturday September 2, 40 of the state’s best baristas will compete for top honours at the 2017 QLD Aeropress Championships. Taking place at the Specialty Coffee Festival from 3:00 pm, these coffee wizards from across the specialty coffee industry will gather to focus on what really matters – the taste of coffee itself. First Coffee Co’s Tiff Teo and Single O’s Steph Burrows will be among the competitors vying for victory. The AeroPress Championships will cost $10 for interested spectators to enter. Relax and enjoy a espresso martini while the professionals battle it out for the title of Queensland Champion.
