Hello, momo – the courtyard party bringing cheese, wine and mimosas to The City

We’re calling it right now – mimosas are making a comeback. The humble mixture of sparkling wine and fruit juice is critically underrated for so many reasons – it’s delicious, it’s fresh and you won’t get judged for ordering it at breakfast. Hot off the heels of its sold-out wine and cheese event in March, Treasury Brisbane is once again turning its courtyard into an epicurean paradise – but this time, there will be citrus. Mark Friday May 11 in your diary because Wine, Cheese & Mimosas is about to get juicy.

Since launching earlier this year, Treasury Brisbane’s wine and cheese nights have really taken off – and Wine, Cheese & Mimosas is set to raise the bar even higher. Patrons will be treated to top drops from around the country, including the most prestigious vineyards of the Yarra and Barossa Valleys to more up-and-coming boutique cellars of Mornington Peninsula and Adelaide Hills. If wine alone isn’t your thing, you can mix it up at the pop-up mimosa bar – think citrus flavours meets sparkling wine and you’re on the right track.

It wouldn’t be a party without food, so you’d best believe that Wine, Cheese & Mimosas will be bringing the flavour. Some of Victoria’s most prestigious cheesemakers have come on board to provide cheeses that are perfectly matched to the drops on offer. There will also be a great selection of antipasto favourites like chargrilled vegetables, assorted dips, artisan breads and more to feast on for the night. The event includes three hours of cheese and wine tasting with live entertainment (plus the mimosa bar, of course) for just $49 per person.

Treasury Brisbane’s previous wine and cheese parties have sold out quick smart. If you want to get your hands on a ticket to Wine, Cheese & Mimosas you can do so through Treasury Brisbane before they all run out.
