The best seat in town – overwater bar Will & Flow to host a dazzling Riverfire party

Set to light up our city next month, Riverfire is a welcome addition to Brisbane’s calendar following a one-year hiatus. If you want to level up your Riverfire experience (‘cause baby, you’re a firework) we know just the place to perch – by the water at Will & Flow, of course! Luckily for you, the breezy overwater bar is hosting a Riverfire party full to the brim with tantalising tipples, seafood tapas and arguably the best views of the show in town.

If you haven’t been counting down the days, Riverfire will be soaring through our skies on Saturday September 25 – which is a lot closer than you think. This cracking display of pyrotechnics can only be improved with some sumptuous sips and snacks, and that’s exactly what event goers will get in spades at the Will & Flow Riverfire party. Revellers can kick off the evening with delectable seafood bites from an impressive oyster and caviar station whilst they enjoy decadent drinkables included in the lavish three-hour beverage package – think Veuve Clicquot champagne, refreshing spritzes, house spirits, a clutch of Australian and international beers, a selection of red and white wines, and non-alcoholic beverages. Guests won’t go hungry either, as there is plenty more feasting on the cards. Graze on delicious canapes like woodfired smoked salmon with mandarin, shaved fennel and baby radish, slow-roasted beef brisket crostini with Australian brie and sweet-onion jam, and grilled prawn and pineapple skewers with black garlic and chilli glaze (our mouth is watering already).

Noshers will be able to finish off on a sweet note by wrapping their mitts around a sweet waffle cocoa cone with four lip-smacking flavours to choose from – salted-caramel and popcorn, nut with chocolate mousse and hazelnut praline, or strawberry with vanilla cheesecake and dehydrated raspberry. Then, the pièce de résistance – the breathtaking fireworks display. In an explosive finale to the three-week-long Brisbane Festival, Riverfire will ignite the skyline with an electrifying showcase fired from multiple locations across the city, and Will & Flow guests will be able to soak it all up from the water’s edge. The Australian Army and Royal Australian Air Force will also be flying sky-high, with helicopter stunts and the gravity-defying aerobatics of the Roulettes set to impress.

Tickets to Will & Flow’s Riverfire soiree on Saturday September 25 are $279 per person and are on sale now. To secure yours, hop over to the Will & Flow website. We suggest making haste, as this is one electrifying event that will sell out quick sticks.
