For two weeks the Brisbane Powerhouse has staged numerous performances ranging from hilarious comedy to titillating cabaret theatre, earning rave reviews from audiences. As the Wonderland Festival winds down for 2015, thoughts are turning to how to top off the festival in the right way. Enter Velvet Helmet – an organisation that is dedicated to supporting Brisbane artists and artistic endeavour through performance showcases and events. It almost goes without saying that Velvet Helmet knows how to throw a party, but they are willing to prove it with by hosting the Best Ever After Party on Sunday December 20.

The New Globe Theatre will be hosting the bash, which will see a host of performers showing off for assembled guests. Spread across three stages, multiple performance mediums will be showcased, from cabaret, live art painting and music – this party is shaping up to be on lively evening. Performers and artists taking centre stage include Ruckus Slam, Lady Longdrop, Dani Cabs, Anna Straker, Emma Dean and Cheap Trill, DJ Sezzo Snot and a few cameo performances by Wonderland artists.
