Get ready to rock – Valley Fiesta returns for a four-day music festival

Prepare to turn it up to 11 as Valley Fiesta is returning to rock the block – from Brunswick Street Mall to Costin Street and beyond! The four-day festival is taking over some of The Valley’s most beloved music institutions from Thursday November 19 to Sunday November 22 with a line-up of homegrown stars including Robert Forster, DZ Deathrays, Jaguar Jonze, Kate Miller-Heidke and many more.

For more than twenty years, Valley Fiesta has showcased a mammoth range of established and emerging talent across Fortitude Valley’s live music scene. This year’s program does the legacy event justice, with a line-up of homegrown acts that will be pumping up the party across four days of live and loud entertainment. It’s all happening across 14 live music venues in and around Fortitude Valley including live-gig favourites The Fortitude Music Hall, Black Bear Lodge, The Brightside, The TriffidO’Skulligans and The Tivoli.

The first line-up of artists features legendary singer and co-founder of iconic group The Go-Betweens Robert Forster, 90s alt-rockers Screamfeeder, dance-punk trio DZ Deathrays (performing a special DJ set) and singer-songwriter Jaguar Jonze. Rounding out the local line-up are indie rockers The Cairos, indie-folk wunderkind Greta Stanley, punk-rock band Total Pace, jazzy genre-benders First Beige, Eurovision songstress Kate Miller-Heidke and Perth indie-rock band Tired Lion.

There’s more goodness to be revealed, so keep your eyes peeled on the QMusic website for further announcements. Tickets are on sale now, head here to secure yours!
