Love is in the air at Eagle Street Pier – here’s where to wine and dine your loved one this Valentine’s Day
Look, we totally get it. Finding a place that ticks all the boxes for a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner can be difficult. From Monday February 10 to Sunday February 16, Japanese flavour maker Saké Restaurant & Bar will be serving up a Japanese feast with specially curated Valentine’s dishes for both lunch and dinner. Diners can sample single serving bites of 24-carat-gold smoked-soy tuna, grilled duck with truffle honey mustard, a Hiramasa kingfish taco, a Moreton Bay bug roll, and a scallops and seared-salmon sushi roll, finishing with the chef’s selection of dessert bites. If that’s not enough, the a-la-carte menu is available all-day too! Want to feast on Latin-inspired fare? Take in glistening river views of golden hour this Valentine’s Day with a romantic dinner at Rico Bar & Dining. Tuck into a three-course set menu of tantalising Latin flavours, sip on cocktails and enjoy live DJ beats well into the night. If steak is what you crave, book into Cha Cha Char for a two-course meal for $115 or a three-course feast for $135 with a glass of bubbles on arrival. There are still plenty of options to choose from to whet your appetite – enjoy a schnitzel and stein at The Bavarian, sip on a Southern Sweetheart tipple at Mr and Mrs G or share spaghetti with local prawns, citrus almond pesto and gremolata crumbs (Lady and the Tramp style) at Il Centro.
