Unwind to the dulcet tunes of The Winter of Reason at River Quay
If you are yet to stumble across South Bank’s new dining precinct, River Quay, then Mellow Music on the Green might be the perfect excuse to swing by for some free music, followed by a luscious meal at one of the new restaurants.
A weekly Friday night event set on the sprawling lawns that lay along the banks of the Brisbane River, Mellow Music on the Green is the perfect way to whisk yourself away from the frenzy of the week. Bring along a picnic rug, listen to an enchanting live act and watch the sun lazily dip below the city skyline.
This week’s performance is by the charming duo, The Winter of Reason. The pair of musicians posses an alluring chemistry that translates into an ethereal sound underpinned by elements of folk and pop music.
There will be two performances at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm respectively, so you can let your hunger dictate the night’s order of events. The Green is located in front of the River Quay restaurants at the Goodwill Bridge end of South Bank.
