Undress Runways gears up to showcase the best sustainable designers

The Brisbane-based collective encourages looking good and doing it responsibly. October 10 will see Undress Runways present a collection of designers with a similar mentality.

The fashion world is discovering a trend pointing towards a growing appreciation of clothing made from organic fabrics that are also ethically produced and create minimal waste. Undress Runways is a fashion collective that celebrates the work of sustainable designers and make sustainable fashion methods the default practice. The fashion collective is known hosting runway events in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne each year, showcasing interesting and unique manufacturing trends, recycled apparel and much more.

Undress Runways will showcase a collection of some of the best designs in day wear, evening wear, swimwear and lingerie at a runway show on October 10. Official designers for the 2015 show include Pure Pod, Prophetik, Cameron & James, Madonna Bain, Alice Nightingale, Buddha Wear, Sinerji Organic Clothing, Koru Swimwear, AARLI, SAINT, Karuma and Undress Runways will also be launching its very own sustainable clothing label, VIHN. Undress Runways will be transforming Avenue No. 10 at the Brisbane Showgrounds into a sustainable style hub for one night only – fashion forward individuals should buy their tickets immediately.
