Rosé meets Monet – paint, sip and snack under the clouds at Cork, Culinary & Colour
For those of us who aren’t the most creative in our everyday lives, sometimes it can take a little bit of liquid courage to get those artistic juices flowing. Thankfully, the two go hand in hand at Treasury Brisbane’s Cork, Culinary & Colour event, which will see the Treasury Hotel Courtyard transformed into a garden-party-style studio on Sunday June 5.
If you’ve never been to a paint-and-sip session, now is your chance! Leave your inhibitions at the door, as Treasury Brisbane’s Cork, Culinary & Colour event has everything to equip you to create your very own masterpiece. As you step into the heritage open-air courtyard, you’ll be greeted by an expertly crafted Chandon Garden Spritz cocktail before making your way to your seat. There you’ll find your own easel, paint and paintbrush, ready for you to start channelling your inner Monet.
If painting isn’t your forte, there’s nothing to worry about – the talented team from Cork & Chroma will be on hand to guide you, step by step, on how to create magic on canvas. If you need a bit of consumable encouragement, you’ll be treated with a glass of either Chandon Brut or Rosé to sip as you paint, plus a decadent cheese plate to nibble at between brush strokes. A cash bar will also be available over the two-hour session, so you definitely won’t be left thirsty! Once the drinks stop flowing, you’ll head home with the piece you created – an eternal reminder of a delightful afternoon.
If last’s year’s event is anything to go by, Cork, Culinary & Colour is sure to sell out! To secure your spot, head to the Treasury Brisbane website.
