Aliens at New Farm CinemasInject a little nostalgia into your weekend with a special Friday fright night screening of the 1986 classic Aliens. If you’ve never seen the film, let’s just say Sigourney Weaver kicks some serious alien butt.

Young at Heart Film Festival
Palace Centro hosts Australia’s only film festival programmed for film lovers aged 60 and up – but of course both the young and young at heart are welcome! Highlights include Fathers and Daughters with Russell Crowe and Jane Fonda, The Man Who Knew Infinity Jeremy Irons and Dev Patel, and classic A Streetcar Named Desire with Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando.

Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour
Canadian mountain town Banff hosts this film festival each year, showcasing more than 300 mountain culture, adventure and exploration films over the week-long celebration. Each year, a selection of award winners and audience favourites are selected to join the festival’s world tour, visiting more 35 countries around the globe.
