Human Rights Arts & Film Festival: Get comfortable and immerse yourself in award-winning filmmaking, with documentaries that showcase engaging human stories from around the world at the Human Rights Arts & Film Festival. Fresh from the international festival circuit, award-winning filmmakers and artists will introduce you to incredible people, fascinating places and moving stories.

May 20–21
B Movies Live: As part of Anywhere Festival the B Movies Live team bring classic B-grade movies to life with props, costumes, sound effects and music. This weekend the team will be tackling Frankenstein Meets the Space Monster. A robot astronaut battles Martians who have arrived on Earth with the sole purpose of kidnapping our women to continue the breeding stock of their dying planet.

Wed May 25
TangerineHot Chicks with Big Brains has launched a feminist and queer film discussion podcast called Screen Queens! To coincide with this it has started a bimonthly movie night with the first film slated to be Tangerine – a bold, hilarious, and brutally honest movie that follows two transgender sex workers, Sin-Dee and Alexandra, on their quest to track down Sin-Dee’s cheating boyfriend.
