Stop for a spot of tea and scones at The Nightmare Before Christmas Tea Party

West End has long been a melting pot of interesting characters and events, and this weekend will see a gathering of costume-wearing folk taking in a spot of tea and scones at the Boundary Street Markets’ The Nightmare Before Christmas Tea Party.

If you spot a couple of freaky Christmas characters at the Boundary Street Markets this weekend, follow their trail to The Nightmare Before Christmas Tea Party. Inspired by the film and story by Tim Burton, the tea party will take place beyond the markets stalls in the Factory One tea room on Sunday December 13 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Imagine a cross between Halloween, Christmas and the Mad Hatter’s tea party – think skeletons in Santa suits and zombie brides for costume inspiration. There will be lashings of jam and cream to dress up your scones and pots of tea on offer, including English breakfast and West End Tea Co. herbal teas, including Beam Me Up Scotty and Unicorn Blood. The soundtrack from The Nightmare Before Christmas film will cheerily and eerily be playing the background whilst you sip on your tea, scoff down some scones and admire the efforts put into the costumes and make-up.
