The Design Conference returns to Brisbane with industry heavyweights and a huge artist exhibition
A highlight of Australia’s creative calendar, The Design Conference is en route to Brisbane to celebrate its tenth conference. Design enthusiasts can expect a cracking line-up of speakers as well as some eye-catching showcases when it returns to Brisbane Powerhouse from June 16–18.
Over the last decade, The Design Conference has evolved into one of the biggest and most exciting events in Australia’s creative industry. Now, the beloved event is returning to Brisbane with more than 20 world-class talks, six industry panels, a massive artist exhibition (featuring 60 artists), concluding with a huge celebration at Fortitude Valley party playground X-Cargo. This year, event-goers will be able to catch all of the goodness live in person or stream the three-day program online with help from Australian start-up success Orbits.
From critically-acclaimed strategists to some top-tier creatives, there’s a huge roster of heavyweights hitting up this year’s event. You’ll be able to hear anecdotes and professional insights from Bigfish CEO Sheldon Lieberman, creative director of Studio Round Michaela Webb, Garbett Design art director Danielle de Andrade, creative director of Grosz CoLab Ben Grosz, creative director of R/GA Ben Miles and many, many more.
