Brisbane’s biggest street party Teneriffe Festival is returning this May
It’s back … Teneriffe Festival is returning to the streets on Saturday May 28! This year’s festival is set to deliver the flavours of the world to Teneriffe’s streets with help from a clutch of the area’s beloved eateries, as well as some local food trucks and pop-up bars. With some kick-ass entertainment on the cards too, this is one fun-filled day to lock in to your calendar.
Flavoursome fare, sensational sips and a rockstar roster of entertainment – the 12th edition of Teneriffe Festival will be one for the books. Set to get locals feasting and frolicking in the streets, the beloved block party is happening a little earlier this year. On Saturday May 28, the festival will take over Vernon Terrace with a sizzling selection of bites, pop-up bars, art installations and live-music stages.
Hungry folk can expect a culinary melting pop of delicious delights, with a fleet of food trucks delivering a globe-spanning array of street eats. The festival’s Tastes of Teneriffe program will also return this year, with much-loved local restaurants, Dalgety 2.0 Public House and Siffredi’s Spaghetti Bar once again joining the fold. Those who fancy a tipple with a side of live jazz can imbibe worldy wines whilst indulging in waterfront views at the Riverside Wine Garden.
On the entertainment front, punters can expect a jam-packed line-up of homegrown talent curated by the legends at The Triffid – we’ve even heard whispers of a very-special guest appearance. Throw in a host of market stalls, street performers and a dedicated kids zone, and you’ve got one heck of a street party.
