Giddy up and groove – Tattersall’s gives its first race day of the year some RNB flavour
Summer race days generally conjure up images of fillies and fancy frocks, but the gang from Tattersall’s has garnered a bit of a reputation for shaking things up – because where’s the fun in sticking to the same old formula? After a roaring successful debut last year, the famous Tattersall’s RNB Race Day is back, returning to Doomben Racecourse on Saturday March 2 to prove that hip-hop and horses make for a pretty unbeatable combination.
Perfectly blending trackside action with serious party vibes, the Tattersall’s RNB Race Day is set to kick off the season in scorching-hot style. This is the sort of all-rounder event that has something for every kind of reveller – whether you’re a die-hard racing fan or have never set foot on the track. As well as a super-stacked premier nice-race program, Tattersall’s has assembled some of the finest live RNB entertainment as well as a suite of exciting pop-up activations.
When the Tattersall’s RNB Race Day takes over the tracks, you can expect the best of both music and racing entertainment. First and foremost, the on-track action will be happening all day long, providing plenty of opportunities to have a flutter if that’s your vibe. It wouldn’t be an RNB race day without some seriously slick tunes, so Tattersall’s has enlisted the help of DJ Travis (also known as the King of RNB) to drop the hits, as well as a live performance from X Factor alumni Soulcutz. Keep your eyes peeled for cool pop-ups throughout the day – details are still under wraps but we have word that there will be a baller G.H. Mumm area in the Members’ Indoor Bar Area.
Ready to drop it like it’s hot? You can nab tickets and packages to Tattersall’s RNB Race Day through the Tattersall’s Racing Club website.
