Indulge in mulled cider and apple pie at Sutton’s Cider Festival

The weather is cooling and comfort food is calling, so take a roadtrip to join the feasting fun at Sutton’s Cider Festival this weekend.

Queensland’s second cider festival will be kicking off this Saturday May 23, promising all the apple-oriented goodness you could dream of. From apple picking and a photography competition to a cider-making demonstration and apple brandy distillation talk, the Sutton’s Cider Festival will not only be delicious, but also educational.

Located in the scenic Granite Belt region, the award-winning Sutton’s Juice Factory, Cidery, Distillery and Shed Cafe will play host to all the fun from 2:30–8:30 pm. Enjoy homestyle soup and homemade bread on arrival, a spit-roast dinner, the famous Sutton’s apple pie with spiced cider ice-cream plus plenty of new-season apple cider, apple juice, mulled apple cider and tea and coffee. Meet the makers, enjoy live music from Blonde Chocolate and even take advantage of the event’s courtesy bus. Find more information, browse the festival brochure and purchase tickets online.
