Summer Nights at BQ is bringing Amalfi Coast vibes to Brisbane Quarter
UPDATE MONDAY NOVEMBER 15: Please note that this event has now sold out.
With international travel back on the cards for certain parts of the country as of this month, our wanderlust grows with the possibility of finally being allowed to explore outside our borders. Alas, us Queenslanders are probably going to be staying put a little longer – but that doesn’t mean we can’t live out our globetrotting dreams right here in Brisbane. Mediterranean vibes will be in full force on Thursday nights in November at inner city dining and drinking destination Brisbane Quarter, which is kicking off its pop-up playground Summer Nights at BQ on November 11. Picture a beach-inspired Malfy Gin bar and a DJ spinning chill-out tunes, and you’re on the money, friend.
Refreshing cocktails, killer beats and a breezy atmos – this is what you can expect to soak in at Brisbane Quarter’s Summer Nights at BQ program on Thursday November 11, 18 and 25. The Amalfi Coast-inspired pop-up will see the centre’s Podium Level One transformed with an Italian beach bar ambience, complete with an eye-catching lemon-grove wall where revellers can take a cheeky Insta pic. Fun seekers can wet their whistle with a tastebud-tempting Malfy Gin tipple from the cocktail cart, kick back in a comfy white-rattan pod chair and let their ears be treated to some of Brisbane’s best DJs spinning tunes.
The fun doesn’t stop there, with plenty of special summer dishes and cocktails at Brisbane Quarter’s sizzling selection of eateries. Culinary globetrotters can enjoy Brisbane Quarter’s melting pot of culture and cuisine at Italian-centric restaurant Persone, fresh-faced Japanese eatery Tenya, Thai-inspired nosh spot Phat Boy, beloved yum cha locale Phoenix, as well as W Brisbane’s WET Deck, Living Room Bar and Three Blue Ducks. Summer Nights at BQ will take over Brisbane Quarter every Thursday in November between 5:30–7:00 pm from November 11. For further information, head to the Brisbane Quarter website.
