St. Jerome's Laneway Festival

Dance your way to St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival

Take your sharpest marker pen to your calendar and put a nice thick circle around Friday January 31 – the date that St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival comes to town.

Bringing a dreamy line-up of musical folk to RNA Showgrounds for a single day of harmonious delights, St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival is the excuse you were seeking to put down your writing utensils, step away from the screen and surrender to the music.

Featuring the talented likes of Cloud Control, Chvrches, Adalita, Daughter, Haim, Lorde, Vance Joy and The Jezabels, amongst many more artists, the 2014 event is bound to have bodies swaying, vocal cords humming and arms waving.

Once again, the festival will support local music man Dean Turner’s Yiriman Project. Those purchasing festival tickets can opt to donate $2, which will raise funds for programs devoted to helping Aboriginal youth in the Kimberley region.

Here’s some snaps from Laneway Festival’s Singapore and Auckland stints and a few local tidbits to get you in the mood for Friday.
