Nautical by nature – primo party boat SEADECK is back for Brisbane Festival
After six years, Mediterranean-inspired party vessel SEADECK is making its return to our waters. The three-level boat will be cutting laps of the Brisbane River from Saturday August 10, hosting weekend brunch cruises and sunset soirees throughout August before teaming up with Brisbane Festival to act as this year’s art boat in September.
If you’re looking to throw a buoyant bash in Brisbane, you’re spoiled for choice. There’s no shortage of seafaring vessels cruising up and down the Brisbane River these days, but the boat that kicked off our obsession with floating frivolity is making its triumphant return this month, embarking on a six-week river residency commencing this weekend.
SEADECK, the older sibling to OASIS, is back in town after a six-year-long absence. The OG party vessel first made its Brisbane debut in 2017, wowing revellers with its three-level layout and Mediterranean-inspired aesthetic. Boasting an open-plan main deck with stylish lounges and a retractable awning, two bars, state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems, and an inbuilt stage, SEADECK is fully equipped for revelry.
Throughout August, SEADECK will host a number of weekend brunch cruises and sunset sessions, with bookings available on Saturdays and Sundays. In September, SEADECK will transform into Brisbane Festival’s art boat, with the creative crew at BRIEFS FACTORY and special guests turning the vessel into an immersive artistic experience. The art boat will be hosting weekend matinee cruises, Thursday night date departures, Friday evening parties, glam Saturday soirees and family-friendly Sunday outings.
SEADECK will be raising anchor at South Bank from Saturday August 10 until the end of September – head to the SEADECK website to check out its itinerary and departure schedule.
