Urban culture photographer Michelle Grace Hunder began shaping the concept of an Australian hip-hop photo book two years ago, and this weekend the final product will be launched in Brisbane. Taking to New Globe Theatre this Saturday August 23, the launch for RISE will see a number of the featured artists performing on the night. Remi will perform alongside hip-hop greats Briggs, Mantra, Grey Ghost, Dylan Joel, Mistress of Ceremony and DJs Jaytee, Flagrant and Sensible J. The launch will also see a different bonus act at each city’s event, with surprise guest artists, who have been featured in the RISE book, taking to the stage to freestyle a performance of their choice.
