Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show brings pelvic thrusts back to QPAC
Time to start brushing up on your relative directions – Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show is returning to QPAC from Wednesday January 17 and you’d hate to accidentally take a jump to the right and a step to the left.
Since 1973, cult classic The Rocky Horror Show has been defying the decades and luring in audiences with its outrageous story, cheeky tunes and naughty costumes. If you’re only familiar with the film then it may be time to give yourself over to absolute pleasure and absorb the show the way that it was intended – in the flesh … and with plenty of flesh.
From Wednesday January 17, Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show will take over QPAC’s Concert Hall bringing an all-new production jam-packed with all of your favourite elements – you’ll follow naive sweethearts Brad and Janet on their wild adventure discovering the ‘Time Warp’, Rocky’s gold hot pants and Frank-N-Furter’s legendary fishnet stockings. Kristian Lavercombe will return to the stage as Riff Raff, alongside Cameron Daddo taking on the role of the Narrator and musical theatre favourites Amanda Harrison as Magenta, Nadia Komazec as Columbia and Brendan Irving as Rocky.
