Raby Bay puts on a great spread for Relish Festival
Indulge in a day of food, wine and entertainment by the bay for the Redlands’ first Relish Festival.
On Sunday October 4, Shore Street West and the Raby Bay Marina will be converted into a foodie’s mecca as more than 75 food and wine stalls set up and start selling gourmet goods for Relish Festival. The event will be hosted by Brisbane Lions legend Richard Champion, who will be joined by special guest Georgia Barnes, runner-up of MasterChef Australia 2015. Georgia will be running a series of masterclass demonstrations and recreating some signature dishes.
Festival goers can meander through the market stalls, sampling produce from boutique providores and artisans. Nibble on deep fried fetta, grilled haloumi and stuffed olives from The Cheese Pleaser, indulge in fresh seafood from Bayside Seafood and Doug & Pearl or sip some fine wine at the Sirromet Wines Tent. Two stages will be set up for live entertainment from the likes of Creature Kind, Eden Mullholland, Inigo and Fat Picnic, plus kids can enjoy some cupcake-decorating workshops, face painting and brick building.
