Red Deer Music & Arts Festival showcases some of Australia’s finest music

The Red Deer Music & Arts Festival is a grass-roots music festival that selects some of the best Australian acts to perform in a laid-back setting in the picturesque surrounds of Mount Samson.

Thousands of live music fans will be packing up couches, chairs, tents and eskies in anticipation of the Red Deer Music & Arts Festival, which is taking place on Saturday October 3. The festival is Queensland’s only BYO alcohol and furniture festival, beginning as a stroke of genius in 2010. Now a few years along, the Red Deer Festival Music & Arts Festival has earned a cult following of fans who enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the festival and on-point selection of bands performing.

This year, the line-up include a varied offering of rock, electro and folk. Bands such as iconic hard rock outfit Frenzal Rhomb, electro-RnB crooner Andy Bull, Salmonella Dub System, Ayla, Hey Geronimo, Mosman Alder, Waax, Cheap Fakes and We All Want To will be performing as well as DJs keeping the party going all night long. Also on offer will be a range of food and drink stalls plus a craft market for those looking for a cute find. Head to the Red Deer Festival website for camping and line-up information and to grab some tickets.
