QUT Art Museum hosts fundraiser Book Swap

Bookworms can trade old books for new or snap up some new tomes at QUT Art Museum’s Book Swap this month.

If you relish the secret thrill of finding a rare book or have been pining for some new tomes to delve into, you’d best head to QUT Art Museum’s Book Swap next Tuesday May 27. Local bookworms can browse the large selection of secondhand books from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm and head home with bags full of reading fodder.

QUT Art Museum will host the event in conjunction with TEXTA Book Club and QUT Big Lift as part of QUT Reconciliation Week. The money raised will be donated to The Indigenous Literacy Foundation, an organisation that aims to raise literacy levels and improve the lives and opportunities of Indigenous children living in remote and isolated regions. Bring along your pre-loved books to trade or a gold coin donation to snap up some new favourites. Entry is free and complimentary refreshments will be served.
