This Saturday November 28 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm more than 40 independent craft and design artists will feature handmade ceramics, jewellery, textiles, paper products and furniture outside the Gallery of Modern Art at the QAGOMA Store Christmas Design Market. There will be creators and designers the likes of Two Plums Design with recycled silver jewellery, Vessel and Vine with its cement homewares and jewellery, Issac Patmore with ceramics and Sybella 7 with fabric purses.

Local favourite Paper Boat Press will be there with their range of ceramics. Yadage Design will feature a range of homewares and there will be quirky cushions from Touch Wood Design and furniture from Anon & Co. Particularly well-known for its selection of jewellery and ceramics the market will also see Kimono Reincarnate, Barbara Heath, Susan Simonini, Erinswindow, Spun Mud, Monte Lupo, Virginia Jones, Pareidolia Ceramics, Jennifer Orland and Erin Lightfoot‘s wares on offer. The market coincides with the flagship contemporary art exhibition, the 8th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, showing at the Queensland Art Gallery and Gallery of Modern Art.
