Chocolate nachos, lobster-filled banquets and waterfront views – delight your date at Portside Wharf

Attention, lovebirds! Valentine’s Day is coming up fast with florists making huge orders, restaurants booking out and chocolate boxes flying off the shelves ahead of Monday February 14. If you’re yet to lock in plans for you and your darling dearest, we know a riverside locale that is full of romantic activitiesPortside Wharf. We’re talking candle-lit dinners, cocktails by the water and rom-coms galore …

Love is in the air at Portside Wharf, which is set to come alive this Valentine’s Day with flavoursome fare, decadent date-night drinks and romantic vibes. If you’re searching for a dynamite dinner that will tickle the tastebuds of your special someone, take them to Gusto da Gianni, where you can tuck in to a flavourful feast of beef crudo with confit egg yolk, mustard leaves, radish and truffle pecorino to start, orange and ricotta ravioli with beurre noisette, sage and almonds for the main, and hazelnut praline bavarois with dark chocolate mousse and cacao crumble for dessert. Belvedere Bar n Grill is set to impress with a lavish menu featuring an antipasto share platter, flame-grilled steaks and chocolate semi freddo with mango relish and cinnamon vanilla sauce. Just around the corner is Byblos Bar, which will be serving up an intimate three-course banquet of Lebanese delights with some seriously impressive river views, or settle in for a five-course feast of Japanese bites from Sono – think Japanese kingfish and tuna sashimi, full-blood wagyu with red wine miso sauce, and lobster with truffle, shiso and butter sauce.

Keeping it casual this year? Take your date to Dendy Cinemas Portside and enjoy new releases like Belfast, Spencer and Marry Me – don’t forget the rendezvous at the candy bar for popcorn and vanilla-caramel brownie choc-tops. For some pre- or post-movie snacking, stop by Burrito Bar for chocolate nachos (you get them free with a meal purchase on Valentine’s Day!), or dine in at much-loved eateries like AamayaGinga Sushi and Bamboo Basket. Your Valentine’s adventure wouldn’t be complete without a lovey-dovey soundtrack, so Portside Wharf will have string musicians throughout the night to really get you in the mood.
