Set sail for Pirates Week these school holidays
Pirates Week is taking over the Queensland Maritime Museum for three days of pirate-themed activities for kids ages five to 11.
Raise the anchor and drop the sail, Pirates Week is almost upon us! The Queensland Maritime Museum is once again hosting a boatload of pirate-themed activities for boys and girls between the ages of five and 11 from Wednesday September 24 to Friday September 26. Kids will be able to walk the plank, row a boat, learn about knots, flags and sails, as well going on board the HMAS Diamantina. Activities will vary depending on age, but all children will be able to experience life as a pirate and take part in a real-life treasure hunt.
