Queensland Ballet performs Peter Pan at QPAC

The classic tale of Peter Pan will be performed for Brisbane audiences from Friday June 26 to Saturday July 11.

It’s a story many of us grew up with, but now J.M. Barrie’s 100-year-old tale is coming to the stage as a spectacular ballet. From Friday June 26 to Saturday July 11, the wonderfully talented members of the Queensland Ballet will bring Wendy, Peter, the Lost Boys and of course Captain Hook to life in Peter Pan.

Incredible flying sequences and swordfights combine to re-interpret the famous tale for a local audience. This wonderful mix of dance and theatre is complemented by a music score from English composer Sir Edward Elgar, arranged by American-born Niel DePonte. Find more information about the Queensland Ballet’s production and book your tickets online. An audio-described performance is also available at 1:30 pm on Saturday July 4.
