Park Food Trucks rolls in to Ashgrove
The team behind Downey Park Food Trucks has arranged a new food truck gathering that takes over a different park once a month.
Downey Park Food Trucks has become an immensely popular event in Windsor thanks to its ever-changing selection of Brisbane’s top-notch food trucks. Over the first half of 2015, the regular event has earned a steady following and demand has risen for similar events in other Brisbane suburbs. Hearing the clamouring for more from food-truck lovers, Emma Cuell – the mastermind behind the event series – has started Park Food Trucks, a monthly event that sees food trucks occupy a different suburban park.
On Sunday July 26, Park Food Trucks will take over the Newmarket Bowls Club in Ashgrove for an afternoon of salivation-inducing street food. From 2:00–5:30 pm, a number food trucks will be parked on-site offering a range of cuisines and treats to the ravenous hordes. Catch Juan More Taco, How We Rolls, King Of The Wings, Little Back, Mangia Mangia Italian Street Goods, Pizzantica, Ruby the Little Red Ice Cream Van and The Doughnut Bar at Park Food Trucks on Sunday at this free and family-friendly event.
