Immerse yourself in design at Pecha Kucha Night

Brisbane’s sparkling creative talents will be highlighted at Brisbane Powerhouse at the Pecha Kucha Night on Wednesday September 4. The event, which has become a worldwide sensation since its beginnings in Tokyo in 2003, was pioneered by Klein Dytham Architecture. The unique presentation style of the event works on the format of speakers displaying 20 slides, with 20 seconds spent on each slide. These precise presentations are filled with inspiring, interesting and to-the-point content, and provide a relaxed forum for designers to showcase their ideas. The event isn’t all about the presentations, however, and attendees of Pecha Kucha Night can expect a social evening with drinks and vibrant company. The free evening begins at 8:20 pm at the venue’s Turbine Platform. more
