Judith Prior gives an old pussycat a reboot

What’s New Pussycat is a brand-new adventure for Puss in Boots. Judith Prior’s reworking of Puss in Boots is a world away from the original, purposefully moral tale. Carrying heavy text books and turning umbrellas inside out in the wind are now, too, concerns of the past. This is because every three minutes from each side of Brisbane’s Goodwill Bridge, a sheltered, electric tricycle will be at your service to carry you across the river. From 7:45 am to 5:45 pm, six days a week, you can hire a trike, hop on for a joy ride, and avoid having to approach the other side of the bridge speckled with sweat or rain. Named not only for its landmark setting, Goodwill Bike Co. is the creation of a team of friendly folk, who plan to invest their fiscal and humanitarian resources in useful community projects each year. To find yourself a sweet ride, stand at the end of the bridge and look… more
