Save the date! The Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping is back for 2023, so start planning your outfit

Is it just us, or is this year flying by? It won’t be long until we’re raising a glass to farewell 2022 and welcoming a bigger and brighter 2023. Before you get too carried away with end-of-year revelry, we’d like to steal your attention momentarily to let you know that the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping is galloping into town on Sunday January 8 and bringing some celebrity skills and world-class talent along for the ride. Mark it in your calendars, dust off those polo whites and get ready to leap into the new year with style.

If you’ve already had the pleasure of attending the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping, you know you’re in for a day of fabulous fashion, fun, and some seriously impressive horseback action. Doug Jennings Park in Main Beach will welcome some of the country’s finest polo players to battle it out in a fast-paced and thrilling game, whilst providing a glamorous backdrop against the picturesque surrounds of the Broadwater. The event organisers have upped the ante for the 2023 iteration, welcoming world-renowned polo players and ambassadors Nacho Figueras and Delfi Blaquier back to the Gold Coast alongside the Magic Millions’ newest global ambassador for showjumping, Elsa Pataky. During the day, there will be two polo games – the celebrity round (featuring Zara and Mike Tindall and Queensland’s winning Origin Coach, Billy Slater) and the fast-paced, action-packed professional match. Attendees can also watch horses and their talented riders in the showjumping competition, which features a $1-million prize pool.

How you spend your day at the polo is entirely up to you. If you’re keen to keep it casual, you can roll out a rug and partake in a picnic or snack from one of the food trucks in the Polo Village, or those over 18 can nab a spot in the Beer Garden to soak in the sights and sounds. If you’re really keen to make a splash, the stylish and sophisticated Pacific Fair Pavilion is the perfect perch to make the most of your polo experience. Guests will enjoy an all-day gourmet food and drink package with prime viewing of the field and all of the live-action across the day. Mingle with mates, uncover summer’s best style in the hotly contested Pacific Fair Fashions On The Field, and, if you’re game, get on-field for the popular divot stomp. Live entertainment will be on hand to keep the good vibes flowing well into the afternoon. Tickets are on sale from November 4, with adult general admission at $35 and access to the Pacific Fair Pavilion for $350. The Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo is the first event to kick off the 2023 Magic Millions Carnival. Events across the carnival include The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Barrier Draw, Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and The Star Gold Coast Magic Millions Raceday.

The Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping will open the gates to a stylish summer of Magic Millions equine events. Tickets are on sale now, so rally your fillies and race to nab yours
