Out of the Box prompts childish behaviour
Brisbane’s youngest residents will converge on South Bank’s cultural centre when Out of the Box springs to life on Wednesday June 25.
Childish activities will reign supreme from Wednesday June 25 until Wednesday July 2, when the annual Out of the Box festival bursts in to town. Brisbane’s tin lids, whipper snappers and ankle biters will enjoy entertaining workshops, theatrical performances and general frivolity during the festival, which will see strange sea creatures, artistic activities and lively dancers come together.
The eight-day festival will feature cultural displays, exhibitions, concerts from familiar faces such as Katie Noonan, Justine Clarke and Jay Laga’aia, musical activities, a variety of pop-up play spaces and many more free festivities. The full schedule of events is now available on the Out of the Box website.
