Lady Gaga, Elton John, Paul McCartney and more team up for the One World: Together At Home COVID-19 concert special
UPDATE: One World: Together At Home will be live streamed on Channel 10 on Sunday April 19 from 10:00 am.
Doing their part in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, Global Citizen and the World Health Organization (WHO) have teamed up with Lady Gaga and a talented roster of international artists for One World: Together At Home, a global concert special helping to raise much-needed funds and support for those affected by coronavirus.
One of the only concerts where it’s appropriate to turn up ready to sing along in your PJs – the One World: Together At Home musical benefit will be live streamed online on Sunday April 19 (Australian time) across multiple digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. The virtual broadcast will support people who are affected by COVID-19 by helping to raise funds for WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund (which has surpassed $35 million already), as well as celebrating and supporting healthcare workers that are fighting the virus on the front line.
Curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga and hosted by lauded late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert, the global special will feature appearances and musical performances from the likes of Alanis Morissette, Andrea Bocelli, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Chris Martin, David Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, Maluma, Paul McCartney, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Shah Rukh Khan and Stevie Wonder. Even some of your favourite Sesame Street characters will be on hand to help out.
