Treat your ears to a hot-as-heck line-up of musos curated by The Triffid
To get the Teneriffe Festival party started, event-goers will be treated to a specially curated line-up of live music. Get into the boogie spirit with House of Harlen (11:45 am), Mojo Webb (6:00 pm) and Great Sage (7:00 pm) on the Ethel Street stage presented by The Prince Consort. Over on the Triffid Stage, you’ll find Wil Wagner (2:00 pm), Predators (5:45 pm) and The Steele Syndicate (7:00 pm) filling the air with sweet tunes throughout the day. Headliner, Aussie icon and multiple ARIA award winner Ben Lee will be giving a dazzling performance at 5:15 pm, then Resin Dogs will be rounding out the evening at the Triffid Stage at 8:15 pm with a not-to-be-missed performance.

Sip icy-cold brewskis from Last Man Standing
Keen to blow the froth off a few boozy brews? Last Man Standing’s pop-up bar at Teneriffe Festival has got your back. Brewed right here in Brisbane (and, fun fact, founded by the two sons of the late Australian Wallaby Roydon Prosser, Damian and Stephen, and Australia’s first Winter Olympic gold medallist Steven Bradbury OAM), Last Man Standing offers a refreshing, crisp and full-flavoured lager that will tempt taste buds of beer lovers visiting the festival.

Sample wordly wines at the Riverside UnWINEd Garden
Those who fancy a tipple with a side of live jazz can imbibe worldy wines whilst indulging in waterfront views at the Riverside Wine Garden. Relax under the trees, enjoy some live tunes and sample smooth reds and sparkling whites from some of the world’s best wine regions, both local and abroad. 

Taste test some tip-top nosh
Eager to fill your belly? There’s plenty of flavoursome fare to savour at Teneriffe Festival, with Italian spaghetti with chorizo and pangrattato from Siffredi’s, sticky chilli pork tacos from Rita’s Tequila and Taqueria, fragrant chicken curry from Aji, scrumptious Moreton Bay bug sliders from Botany, and sizzling snacks from Zero Fox. You’ll likely spy us grabbing multiple plates, so no judgement please.

Be transported to New Orleans with the NOLA Street Parade
We hope you’re ready to don your dancing shoes – the NOLA Street Parade from Jazz Music Institute is bringing the sounds and rhythms of New Orleans to the streets of Teneriffe. The lively parade will be kicking off on Vernon Terrace with trumpets, trombones and saxophones bringing the noise – all you have to do is join the street party!

Have a dog’s day out
Calling all Bluey fans! Australia’s favourite Heelers Bluey and Bingo will once again be making an appearance at Teneriffe Festival, and they’ll even be meeting and greeting with fans on the day (for those who were lucky enough to snap up a ticket!). The pups will be taking the Merthyr Village Kid’s Zone stage for two live interactive experiences at 10:40 am and 1:20 pm – we recommend getting there early to secure your spot. We can hear the kids shrieking with excitement already.

Let the kids dance the day away at these family-friendly activities
Keep the kids entertained with a ripper line-up of performances and activities in the dedicated Kids Zone presented by Merthyr Village. Catch whimsical live circus acts from Circus Ipswich, the Mini Moshers (a favourite on ABC Kids Radio), and roving entertainers, as well as singing and dancing performances from New Farm State School students.

Discover a treasure chest of local makers
Those keen to have a shop on the day will be greeted with more than 100 curated market stalls filled with everything from handmade jewellery and local fashion to art and homewares. Meet the makers, support small businesses and treat yourself by purchasing some unique, artisan goods. 

Treat your taste buds to a stellar selection of street fare
Hungry folk can expect a culinary melting pot of delicious delights at this year’s festival, with a fleet of food trucks delivering a globe-spanning array of street eats. Dig in to fresh handmade dumplings from Steamed, piles of paella from Samba Catering Co, salivation-inducing German sausages from Brat Haus, vegan pizza from Piante, carby creations from festival favourite Potato Slinky and fluffy donuts from G-Free donuts. 

Secure some take-home treaties
The day is nearly done and you’ve soaked up all of the Teneriffe Festival goodness – but before you go, make sure to stock up on some sweet treats to take home! Decadent delights that must be bagged include Portuguese custard tarts from Lisboa Cafe, fluffy poffertjes from Dean’s Dutch Delights, handmade decadent fudge from Sunshine Coast’s Schultz’s Finest, and adorable animal figures made from rich Belgian chocolate by Oscar and Co Chocolates.
