Museum of Brisbane hosts two free talks this weekend

Satisfy your cultural curiosity this weekend with a day spent absorbing two fascinating, free presentations at the Museum of Brisbane.

Perched patiently on level three of City Hall, the Museum of Brisbane is a treasure trove of history, culture and ideas. While a casual stroll through the venue is rewarding enough, this weekend the museum will be opening itself up to an exhibition talk and curator talk about three very special recent exhibitions.

Join museum director Peter Denham from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Sunday September 28 as he discusses the individuals who have documented Moreton Bay and the process involved in bringing The Many Lives of Moreton Bay and Euan Macleod: Moreton Island to life. Later that afternoon, from 2:00–3:00 pm, another free presentation will see Peter being joined by local artist Anna Carey as the pair share inside knowledge and take guests on a guided walk through David Malouf and friends.
