MS Moonlight Walk

MS Moonlight Walk

To raise awareness for multiple sclerosis research, MS Queensland are hosting the MS Moonlight Walk on October 17 at South Bank’s Cultural Forecourt.

Put on your comfiest walking shoes and head to the South Bank Parklands on Friday October 17 to take part in the MS Moonlight Walk. More than 23,000 people in Australia are suffering from multiple sclerosis, a disease affecting the central nervous system. Although a cure is yet to be found, research is continuously underway but can only continue with support from the general public.

The MS Moonlight Walk encourages supporters to get active and grab an MS lantern for their walk from South Bank, through the City and Kangaroo Point. There is a 5-km and a 10-km course to choose from, so all fitness levels are catered for. After the walk is completed, stick around for some live entertainment and food and drink available at the South Bank Cultural Forecourt. Register until Friday October 10 to receive a discounted entry fee, or you can register on the day – registrations open at 4:30 pm with the walk commencing at 6:00 pm. You can learn more about the event, the disease and the registration information at the MS Moonlight Walk website.
