Learn about the birds and the bees at the new Milton Markets

The long awaited replacement for the Red Hill Farmers Market will launch as Milton Market on Sunday April 17 and Jack Stone from Bee One Third will be onsite at the launch to share his bee wisdom.

This Sunday will see Cribb Street celebrate the grand opening of the Milton Markets. The market will be home to more than 140 of the best produce, food, arts and craft stalls from across Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Nestled amongst the beautiful old fig trees, the new site has shaded seating for you to enjoy the bounty of your market purchases while you listen to live acts performing on the custom-built stage. Pony rides, a jumping castle and taste tests will keep the little ones entertained and bee keeper Jack Stone from Bee One Third will be onsite for the launch market to answer all of your birds and bees questions.

Milton local Bunker Coffee will be brewing along with market stallholder favourites including Jumping Red Ant, White Gold Creamery, Paddock to Plate Meats, Bare Bites, Kokopod Artisan Chocolate, Benfatti Fine Italian Foods, Jackalope Slow Foods and Banneton Bakery. Spend the morning talking to a small-batch boutique farmer, tasting gooey cheese from a local dairy farmer, planning a barbecue with specialist butchers or discovering vegan and allergen-friendly cakes.

The Milton Markets is dedicated to bringing you the freshest farm-direct produce, traditional foods and market provisions all from passionate and skilful producers, growers, farmers, painters, cooks, chefs, bakers, fishmongers, butchers and baristas. Milton Markets is open every Sunday from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm.
