Millencolin’s timeless punk rock on show at the True Brew World Tour
Whilst its been a long time since Millencolin have made a new album (seven years in fact), the boys just wanted to make sure that they had something really good to offer.
One listen to the new True Brew album will tell you that Millencolin haven’t lost their fire and are back a strong as ever continuing to flourish creatively. While the new album True Brew musically draws upon some of Millencolin’s earliest influences of galloping drums and fast, technical riffing, the album lyrically tackles modern social and political issues in a way that the boys have never have before. It’s a timeless and modern album from the heart of four adults who have been side-by-side since they were teenagers and have lived through shifting cultures, changing politics and the rise and fall of musical trends.
Most bands don’t make it intact this far in their careers but Millencolin have shown that they can can be meaningful in an ever changing world.
The True Brew World Tour will see Millencolin take stage at The Tivoli at 7:00 pm on May 1.
