The Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow rolls into Brisbane

With a handpicked crew of comedians fresh from Melbourne’s funny fest, the Powerhouse gets ready to bring the laughs with a night of sure-fire hilarity.

Comedy festival season is drawing to a close but there is still one more opportunity to get a few more laughs in this year. The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is Australia’s biggest comedic event, attracting dozens of world-class comedians and thousands of fans to Melbourne for three weeks of guffaws, chuckles and chortles. The festival wrapped up on April 19, but a select few comedians are keeping the good times going with a roadtrip up to Brisbane to perform at the Brisbane Powerhouse from April 29 to May 2.

On the bill for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow is a collection of comedians that all earned rave reviews down south. Catch rising Australian stars such as Kevin Kropinyeri, David Quirk and Nath Valvo alongside international comics Jen Kirkman and Wil Sylvince. Each comedian brings a unique brand of humour to the stage, making this roadshow performance a wild and hilarious affair.
