Folks, it’s time to face the music – winter (also known as Netflix and hibernation season) is well and truly over. The sun is out, the air is sweet and it’s the perfect time to ease into a more active lifestyle – after all, the more you move means the more pasta you can eat, right? If you’ve been looking for a low-pressure way to get into the swing of exercise or even just a casual environment to work out, we’ve got the solution – the Medibank Feel Good Program.
In case you’re not familiar, let us introduce you to the concept of the Medibank Feel Good Program – it’s pretty much a series of rad outdoor fitness classes that run through the spring and summer months, welcoming anyone and everyone to participate. The free (yes, as in no money required) classes range from low-impact exercises to more high-intensity workouts designed to make you sweat. As if it couldn’t get any easier, there is also no need to book a spot – you can just check out the timetable and rock up to the classes that tickle your fancy.
So what exactly will be on offer for this round of the Medibank Feel Good Program? If you’re across the previous programs, you may notice some fun new additions like HIIT – the fat-burning, muscle-building fitness phenomenon based on short intervals. In a similar vein is the Energy class, a great option for those looking to burn calories, or the ever-popular ZUMBA Latin dance sensation. For something more chill you can check out the yoga and Tai Chi sessions, or go a little more intense without sacrificing your zen with a touch of Pilates. Mamas can get in on the action with a special post-natal mums and bubs class, while those who prefer some splash with their activities can take part in an aqua session.
