Stay past curfew – marie clarie Up Late kicks on later than ever
It’s time to kick open the wardrobe and get dressed up – marie claire Up Late is set to ignite James Street once again on Thursday March 22. Brisbane’s fashion lovers are encouraged to dress up in their finest and get amongst the after-hours fiesta, which includes in-store appearances, giveaways, live music and, as always, some incredible shopping.
If you consider yourself a style hunter or have a sharp eye for good buys, then marie claire Up Late is probably already marked on your calendar. For those of you yet to experience the magic, the evening is centred around an after-hours shopping spree where exclusive discounts abound and over 1000 gift bags are given away. As you browse the shelves at some of James Street’s gorgeous boutiques, keep your eyes peeled for in-store appearances by visiting designers Damien Horan and Daniel Oliver from Assembly Label, Adrian Norris of Aje, Gail Sorronda, and Alex and Natasha Chipman from Natasha Schweitzer.
The promenade will pump to the sounds of local DJs dressed by aspiring fashion designers from QUT’s Fashion Design School, while the street will also be lit up by pink projections and eye-catching visuals. For the first time ever, marie claire Up Late will wrap up the evening’s festivities with a killer live performance from Haiku Hands. After whipping audiences into a frenzy at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, the genre-bending group will transform the open-aired performance space next to Harveys Bar + Bistro into a wild disco party. Don your heels and then kick them up – marie claire Up Late is back, baby!
