James Street drops a big announcement for marie claire Up Late 2017
It’s glitzy, it’s glamorous and it’s back again. James Street has announced that the sixth annual marie claire Up Late will be taking place on Thursday March 30 and it is gearing up to be the biggest one yet. In addition to goodie bags and shopping experiences, the fashionable event will also celebrate the highly anticipated opening of the David Jones James Street boutique store.
For one night only, James Street will be welcoming some of the country’s best fashion designers and most stylish influencers for the popular marie claire Up Late event, which will be painting the street pink at the end of March. Notable figures such as Gail Sorronda, Adrian Norris and Edwina Robinson of Aje, jewellery designer Lucy Folk, Louise Olsen of Dinosaur Designs and Daniel Oliver of Assembly Label will be on hand to share their tips and season predictions at numerous in-store appearances throughout the night. Several of James Street’s bars and restaurants will also be getting in on the action, keeping the good times rolling with a series of happening after parties that are great places to be seen.
The biggest news from the announcement is undoubtedly the opening of the new David Jones boutique, which will be hosting a range of fashion trend workshops hosted by David Jones Ambassador Jesinta Franklin. The workshops – covering topics such as swim and activewear trends, perfect weekend wear and beauty masterclasses – are free to attend and no RSVP is required. The store will be showcasing its curated collection of wares ranging from fashion and beauty products to accessories and more. Head to the James Street website for more information, then start planning your perfect eye-catching outfit.
