As the sun sets on the first Friday of each month, Hawthorne’s Love Your Local Markets transforms Hawthorne Park into a food-filled sanctuary. From 4:00–8:30 pm on Friday March 7, the first Love Your Local Twilight Markets will bring the finger-licking offerings of That BBQ Joint, JAMROC Jamaican Jerk Chicken, The Pasta Cruiser, Mr Kalamari, Goat Pie Guy, Oi Taco, the Turkish gozleme stall, Grumpy’s Bar and Glenburger to the picturesque setting. The bike-, pup- and child-friendly event will also share the sweet delights of Decadently Whipped and Hett’s n Ice Shaved Ice to the people of Hawthorne. You can pick up a take-home treat for friends from Smoke & Roast, Berry Good Jam & Chutney, and Lime Cart Pantry – while gourmet delicacies for your canine pals will be available from Doozi Delitz and Furry Gourmet.
