Listen to lounge music with Little Scout
Local lot Little Scout will be visiting Alhambra Lounge on August 31 to launch a new single. Make your night one of revelry and dancing to also help the band celebrate its return home after touring the nation with School of Seven Bells.
This show will follow onto yet another national tour for Little Scout, who will play shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne to parlay to audiences its latest melody ‘Go Quietly’. The indie-pop sound of the group is slightly more experimental in this new single, which has been mixed by Lars Stalfors of The Mars Volta.
This release follows on from the success of the group’s two EPs and debut album and speaks clearly to audiences that the band is continuing to grow musically. Forming in 2008, Little Scout’s members Melissa Tickle, Kirsty Tickle, Patrick Elliott and Miro Mackie have proven they are now seasoned veterans of the touring circuit, having supported everyone from First Aid Kit to Josh Pyke and Belle and Sebastian. To hear Little Scout’s latest musical foray and indulge in a good old-fashioned dance, you can buy tickets to the gig online.
@ Alhambra Lounge, August 31.
