It’s time for Italy to shine! The 2015 Lavazza Italian Film Festival will showcase some of the most captivating Italian flicks from the past 12 months.

From October 1 to 18, the Lavazza Italian Film Festival returns for it’s 16th season, taking over the Palace Barracks and Centro Cinemas. Like previous years, the festival will screen a range of stunning films, showcasing the vibrant film scene and cinematographic prowess of Italian filmmakers. The 2015 program boats a range of contemporary and classic films and shorts.

The opening night film for 2015 is the Italian box office hit God Willing, a hilarious comedy starring Italian screen icon Alessandro Gassman. Closing the festivities will be The Conformist, an Academy Award-nominated masterpiece released in 1970 by Bernardo Bertolucci. Other notable films include award-winning film, The Dinner, Toronto and Venice Film Festival Official Selection Black Souls, the heart-warming comedy Do You See Me? and the comedic highlight, Mia Madre. To view the full festival program and to purchase tickets, jump over to the Palace Cinemas website.
